J. Lepowsky and R. Wilson gave in [LW] a Lie-theoretic interpretation of the Rogers-Ramanujan identities in terms of representations of the affine Lie algebra g̃ = sl(2,C). The product sides of the Rogers-Ramanujan identities follow from the principally specialized Weyl-Kac character formula, the sum sides follow from the construction of bases parameterized by partitions satisfying difference 2 conditions. Very roughly speaking, they start with a basis {X(j) | j ∈ Z} of g̃ and write a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt spanning set

Let R be a commutative noetherian ring and Γ a finite group. In this paper,we study Gorenstein homological dimensions of modules with respect to a semi-dualizing module over the group ring . It is shown that Gorenstein homological dimensions of an -RΓ module M with respect to a semi-dualizing module, are equal over R and RΓ .

We show that the natural representation of SL 3 SL 5 SL 13 allows nonlinear equivariant automorphisms; more exactly, the group of polynomial au-tomorphisms on C 3 C 5 C 13 commuting with the simple SL 3 SL 5 SL 13-action is isomorphic to C n C. This is the rst example of a simple module with nonlinear equivariant automorphisms.
